Hi! I’m Jenny Braswell and I love teaching dance at Morehead Elementary!

I grew up in Brevard, North Carolina and started taking dance when I was 3 years old. I continued dancing in studios even through high school, but would have loved taking dance in school! I went to UNCG for dance and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and a K-12 teaching license for NC.

This is my 13th year teaching at Morehead and my 15th year of teaching in Guilford County Schools! I feel passionate about teaching movement. I love to teach students how to see things in a different way, express themselves, create, and perform. I’m forever amazed at what students can create.

When I’m not teaching, I am hanging out with my family. I have two daughters and a husband, and we all love to go on outdoor walks, watch movies, and read! I also love to exercise daily, do logic puzzles, and draw. I love to explore Greensboro on two wheels using the many greenways and trails we have to experience the scenery!
