I'm Ms. Jones

Math is an absolute passion of mine!  I am so excited to work with you and your child!  It’s going to be a great year!  I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!  I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.

I have 2 amazing children.  My son {Malik} is a rising 8th grader & my daughter {Kiera} is a rising 6th grader.  I enjoy spending my free time with my family & friends as well as traveling.

I was born and raised in Durham, NC and moved here to Greensboro to attend North Carolina A&T State University.  I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Electronics and Computer Technology.

This will be my fourth year at Northern Guilford Middle.  I spent seven and half years at Allen Jay Elementary in High Point.  I absolutely love teaching and I am thrilled that I get to focus my love of teaching in my favorite subject. It is my mission to instill a love for learning, especially math, in my students.   I teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need!  I look forward to a great year together!
