Literacy

 

The PreK-12 literacy team is a part of the GCS Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Department. The literacy team provides a wide range of services and professional development opportunities to Guilford County Schools’ administrators, teachers, curriculum facilitators, and families.

We are dedicated to meeting the literacy needs of all students in order to:

(1) achieve educational excellence and

(2) graduate students who are responsible citizens prepared to succeed in higher education or in the career of their choice.
