Understanding the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Screening Process

Families of GCS second graders are invited to learn more about how students are identified for Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) services beginning in Grade 3. This session will walk through the universal screener, the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT), and explain the additional steps toward identification. Families will also get an overview of what AIG services look like in Guilford County Schools.
