Board of Education Sends Several Policies Out for Public Input
Guilford County, N.C. – The Guilford County Board of Education’s Policy Committee sent the following policies out for a 30-day public input period from Sept. 9 to Oct. 9, 2025.
A new Policy 7430 Substitutes, is recommended to reflect the district’s current practices for employing substitutes.
Proposed changes to Policy 7440 Employee Assignment and Transfer reflect how the district manages the assignment and transfer of employees. The content of Policy 7441 Assignment and Transfer - Classified, has been incorporated into this updated policy, so Policy 7441 has been recommended for repeal.
The public can submit input on the following policies by emailing boardclerk@gcsnc.com. The Board will consider the policies at its October meeting.
