Hello!  I am so glad you are  taking this course. This will be my 12^th school year  teaching Family and Consumer Sciences courses at Ragsdale High.  I have been in education for 24 years.   Within my 24 years of experience, I obtained an associated degree in Early Childhood Development, a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies at at UNCG and my master's degree in K-12 Curriculum, Assessments, and Instruction from Walden University.  My love for child development began when I volunteered in my mom's classroom, when she taught elementary summer school.   I was in middle school at the time.  Those unforgettable experiences fueled my journey to explore the world of early childhood education. 

I have a true passion for creating an authentic learning experience in my classroom.  In addition to being an educator, I am married with four children, and two dogs, Cody and Milo.  I am here to help you reach your maximum potential as my student.  Please let me know if you need anything!
