Stu Johnston (Fall 2024)

Welcome to my classroom!  This is my 22nd year as an educator - 6 years in Baltimore City (MD) Schools and 16 years in Guilford County Schools.  This is my fifth year at Ragsdale.  I love being a part of Tiger Nation, and I am grateful for the opportunity to teach students here.

First and foremost, I am glad you are in my class.  Without you, my job and my vocation would not exist.  I teach math... but most importantly, I teach children.  Your physical, mental, and emotional well being are the most important things to me.  All of those areas have to be functioning properly before any meaningful learning takes place in a classroom.  That said, I will push you to do your best and reach high standards in this course so you will develop habits and skills you can use in high school, college, and the workforce.
