Greetings Archer Families:

Archer is a most wonderful school and place to learn for all children! 

During the 22-23 school years, Archer was recognized by the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium for being a Signature School.  

Archer is a wonderfully diverse community of learners who are supported by our families and our OUTSTANDING staff who consistently hold high expectations for our students!

We believe in ensuring that learning parallels real life experiences.  In that regard, our kindergarten students go on a field trip each month and field trips are an integral part of our curriculum across grade levels!  Kinder students are also engaged in  a daily literacy rotation that provides a solid foundation for our students to become successful readers.

At Archer we have an active PTA that supports our children immensely, through the purchase of t-Shirts for all students, funding our highly engaging “hands-on” Math and Literacy Carnival and supporting our amazing Field Day.

We are very fortunate to have the support of two wonderful universities, North Carolina A & T State University and Guilford College, which we are very grateful!  Additional community support is received by Emmaus Church, The Kiwanis Club and The Greensboro Rotary Club.

The teachers at Archer truly embrace the academic, social and emotional needs which have contributed to the success of our students.

Parents, families and caregivers, I thank you for supporting our students in the following ways:

• Ensure that your child/ren complete homework each evening
• In addition to regular homework, it is VERY important that your children are reading each evening. If they are not bringing books home, please contact their teacher
• Attend parent/teacher conferences virtually or in person
• Limit the amount of television that is watched and the playing of video games
