Little Bit About Me

I am a native of the triad, born and raised in High Point. I graduated from High Point University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and received my Master’s degree at Western Michigan University in 2002. While teaching over the past 20+ years, I also practiced sports medicine in a variety of venues: collegiate, high school, professional sports (Hockey, Arena Football, Baseball, Soccer, and Rodeo) and recreational soccer and lacrosse. I have been working at Ragsdale high school teaching Earth and Environmental Science, as well as AP Environmental Science since 2011. I love teaching Earth and Environmental Science; helping students develop a scientific curiosity, especially in these times with everything going on with our planet.
