Below are lists of the usual supplies recommended for classes. There is some flexibility with this as I want each student to use an organizational system that works best for them. If you have any questions, please email me.
AP English Language & Composition (11th grade)
college-ruled sewn composition book of at least 90 pages for Daybook (The school can provide this if needed.)
Notebook: either 1/2 inch, 3-ring binder for notes and handouts or a spiral AND a pocket folder
college-ruled loose-leaf paper
blue/black pens for graded work
#2 pencil for multiple choice practice tests
highlighters & post-it notes for close reading activities
1 pack 4x6 lined index cards (or you can use Google/PowerPoint slides)
English I:
Notebook: either 1/2 inch, 3-ring binder with three divider tabs labeled: Vocabulary, Grammar, Literature OR a spiral & pocket folder
loose-leaf paper (preferably college-ruled)
blue/black pens for graded work
Optional: highlighters & colored pencils or markers
small assignment pad for keeping track of assignments and their due dates
Honors English I:
Notebook: either 1/2-inch, 3-ring binder with three divider tabs labeled: Vocabulary, Grammar, Literature OR a spiral & pocket folder
