Mrs. Dawn Humphrey

Hello, I am "The Amazing" Mrs. Humphrey and I am humbled and honored to serve as one of the two very talented music educators at Bluford STEM Academy this year. I was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and I am a proud product of Guilford County School System.  I grew up within the neighborhood and graduated from the prestigious James Benson Dudley High School.  I graduated from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education.  I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and I am continuing to better myself and my instructional practices to further student growth and build our community.    

This is my 14th year serving as a music educator at Bluford STEM Academy and I am extremely passionate about our students experiential growth,  Currently, I teach at two schools within the district.  I serve Bluford and Peeler students on Wednesday- Friday of each week but I am only an email, phone call, or Dojo message away.
