Hey everyone,

My name is Mr. Zach Whitney, and I am an EC (Exceptional Childrens) Teacher here at Ragsdale High School.

I have been teaching since 2021 and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Over the past years of teaching, I have taught and co-taught many different classes. I have personally taught American History, Skills Development, and English 3. Previously, I have co-taught American History, World History, Civics, English 3, English 1, Foundations of Math 1, Math 1, and Math 2. Although I majored in Social Studies, I have been teaching many different subjects as an EC teacher.

While I am enjoying my Summer break, I have been lucky enough to travel around the world. I have been to France and Italy, and next year I am planning on traveling to Portugal.

I am not only a teacher here at Ragsdale, I am also on the Disc Golf Club as one of the leaders. This opportunity is a great way for students to play sports, while not feeling the pressure of being on a team. We always have a great spirit, and a huge amount of fun when we are able to join up a play a round of disc golf.
