About Ms. Morrison: 

Marilla Morrison grew up in Burlington, North Carolina. She graduated from Wake Forest University in May '23 with a B.A. in English and minors in Secondary Education and Dance. Marilla has worked at North Carolina Governor's School East for the past four summers as a Teaching Assistant/Counselor in Dance, the Activities Coordinator, and an Area III instructor. She has also taught performance, movement, and scriptwriting camps with the Little Theater of Winston-Salem. Her interests include writing poetry, going to museums, and attending local live performances.
