Dear Families of Third Graders,

            Hello, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Sherri Bartolet (pronounced bar-duh-LET 😊), and your child has been assigned to my third-grade class here at Joyner Elementary School.

            This is my 8^th year teaching 3^rd grade at JES and before coming to North Carolina I taught grades 3^rd-5^th for 8 years in West Virginia.  I earned my bachelor’s degree from Malone University in Canton, Ohio and a master’s from Marshall University in Huntington, WV.  I’ve been a state certified educator for many years, and in 2013 achieved National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification.

            On a personal note, I live in Guilford County with my husband and we have four ‘children’ ages 17, 19, 21, and 25! In my free time, I enjoy spending time hiking with my family, reading, serving at our church, and singing and playing the piano.
