PSAT for Sophomores and Juniors, October 16th, 2019

On Wednesday, October 16, Guilford County Schools will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) to eligible tenth and eleventh grade students.  The PSAT/NMSQT is cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).  In additional to being an entry point to the National Merit Scholarship Program, the PSAT/NMSQT is highly relevant to your child’s future success because the test focuses on the skills and knowledge your child has learned in high school that will lead to success in college.  Data from the PSAT/NMSQT can also be used to help our school understand your child’s potential for success in Advanced Placement (AP) courses.  To learn more about the PSAT/NMSQT or to see sample questions, visit:  https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10.
