A Word About Graduation

The SEHS graduation ceremony will be Tuesday, June 8th @ 8pm at the Greensboro Coliseum. Seniors will be receiving 5 tickets for guests to attend their graduation.  The guests of each senior will need to sit with their group. Mrs. Rich will let seniors know when tickets are available.

Graduation practice will be Friday, June 4th @ 11:30 at the Coliseum.  Seniors must report at 11 am, and practice will last until 1:30.  Practice is mandatory. 

The dress code for graduation is:

  • ladies- black dress shoes; a dress or skirt (color is irrelevant)
  • gentlemen- black or dark dress pants, black dress shoes, a white or light-colored shirt, and a tie.
  • No one is allowed to wear jeans, tennis shoes, or flip flops. Remember, this is a formal ceremony.  Please borrow something from a friend or relative if necessary, instead of purchasing something.  If you have a problem with the dress code, please contact me at richm@gcsnc.com.

Masks will be required and ceremonies will follow state public health protocols. Program participants and guests must wear a mask. To accommodate social distancing, each graduate will be allotted five tickets. Guests of graduates must remain seated and be seated together. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to each ceremony. Parking is free.
