New Athletic Director Announced

We are pleased to announce the selection of our new Athletic Director. The selection process was conducted by a committee composed of various stakeholders from our school community. After interviewing a number of candidates, the committee has selected Mr. Wil Perry to assume the role of Athletic Director for Southern Guilford High School.

Mr. Perry brings athletic experience and a strong passion for student-athlete success. He is committed to fostering a deep level of engagement both in the classroom and on the field, focusing on the holistic development of our students. His dedication will not only elevate our athletic programs but also help us achieve our new academic goals.

With Mr. Perry’s leadership, we expect that Southern Guilford’s athletic department will thrive, and we will witness remarkable achievements as we continue to strive for excellence in both academics and athletics.

In the coming weeks, Mr. Perry will receive training and professional development from Mr. Jeffrey Carter and district officials to ensure a smooth transition. He will officially assume the role of Athletic Director on October 1, 2024.
