Joining Together to Support Western Carolina

Southern Guilford Students, Staff and Community,

In support of our neighbors in Western Carolina, SGHS is linking directly with frontline workers to get involved!  All contributions, no matter how small, can make a big difference!  We will be hosting a supply drive through October 9^th.  SGHS is a community donation site.  Boxes will be set up for drop offs!  We are accepting ALL items any day from the community and surrounding areas!

Additionally, here within the school we will encourage student participation through a little friendly competition!!!  Items will be donated by grade level and the grade level with the highest number of contributions will have bragging rights (and a small incentive which we are still developing). 

For Thursday’s dollar day:  Money will be donated at lunch.  Ms. Adams will be seated at a table and in the commons during all lunches.  Students who donate will be able to also vote for a staff member to Pie on Friday!  The grade level with the most money donated will be the votes used in determining the staff to pie and a grade level rep to complete the “Pie-ing!!!”
