Mark your calendar! This year's book fair will run from Monday, November 27th through Thursday, November 30th.
Dates and times are as follows: Adults coming to the Grand Event or during regular book fair hours must sign in and out at the office. (If parking at Christ UMC, please do not park in their daycare lot between 8:30-9:30 a.m.)
Regular Book Fair Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Special Events:
Monday, November 27th: Grand Event 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. Students are encouraged to bring someone "grand" to them and shop the book fair before school.
Tuesday, November 28th: Family Night 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. An evening time when families can browse and shop the book fair.
**PLEASE NOTE: Because of book availability issues, students may need to substitute another title for an item on their wishlist. If you do NOT want them to make substitutions, please check the appropriate box on their wishlist. (Students will make their wishlists at a scheduled time either Monday the 27th or Tuesday the 28th.)
ONLINE FAIR: An online fair also runs from November 27 - December 10.

Help Fund Classroom Libraries!
The book fair is a great time to help add books to classroom libraries! Teacher wishlists will be on display at the book fair. Gift certificates can be purchased for classrooms, and some teachers may choose to create Teacher eWallets for their classroom libraries.

Help Add Books to the Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long!
Sternberger's Relay for Life Committee and Media & Technology Advisory Committee (MTAC) are teaming up! At the book fair, families can add books to the Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long for children who accompany family members for cancer treatment appointments.
Sternberger families can either buy a book at the book fair to donate or donate any amount to the Books for Cone Health eWallet we have set up. Click HERE to donate to the eWallet. (eWallet funds can only be spent at the book fair or Scholastic online.)
Our goal is to donate 500 new books for children this year - fiction and nonfiction titles across all K-5 reading levels. We look forward to partnering with our Sternberger families to meet this goal!
Students and staff dress-up days! (Appropriate dress still required.)
Monday: Favorites/Favorite Book Character Day: Wear your favorite color, outfit, shirt, etc., or dress as your favorite book character!
Tuesday: Hat Day: Wear a hat! No hat? No problem! Make a paper hat or headband about reading or your favorite books!
Wednesday: Sport/Team Day: Dress in your favorite team’s gear or colors or like your favorite sport!
Thursday: Sternberger Spirit Day: Dress in your favorite Sternberger gear or wear green and white!
