The Academy at Smith receives two Truliant Foundation Grants.

Truliant Foundation Gives Six Grants to Guilford County Schools

The Truliant Foundation announced the 11 recipients of its annual Financial Education Grants for public schools in member-owner communities for individual programs aimed at improving financial literacy. Six of them were given in Guilford County.

Guilford County recipients of this year’s Grant Program included (amongst others):

•  The Academy at Smith, $5,000: The grant will support a model pharmacy within the school so pharmacists can come to the school and assist students with receiving their credential training.

•  The Academy at Smith, $4,850: The grant will support a real-world, online learning platform for students who are working to complete their healthcare certifications.
