The federal waivers that allowed all schools to serve free breakfast and lunch to all students are ending this summer. To ensure that students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals are able to receive those meals on the first day of school, we are asking parents to fill out the application at www.lunchapplication.com. It is very important for parents to complete the application, because this will establish a family’s qualifications for meal discounts for the first 30 days of the 2022-23 school year.
Paper copies of the application were sent home April 25th, with your student. If you complete the paper application, it needs to be returned to Dr. Lockhart, who will deliver the application to the Food and Nutrition department. The deadline for the first round of application is May 23rd, which is our last day of school.
When students return, a new application must be completed after July 1 for the remainder of the school year 2022-23.
If you do not complete a lunch application, then when your student returns to school on August 4th for the 2022-23 school year, he/she will pay full price for breakfast and lunch.
