ECG WIns BIG at National History Day

Congratulations  to all the ECG students who participated in this year’s Central Piedmont National History Day Regional competition.  This was the strongest showing for ECG with more entries and more students competing than we have had any other year.  

The following students placed in the top 3 of regionals and have the opportunity to compete at the state-level virtual competition on the April 27:   

In the category of Individual Documentary, Paige Abbott took first place with Sarah Ali wrapping up the second position. 

Sufia Farooqi placed second for her Individual Exhibit and Elizabeth Bickel secured second place in Individual Website.

ECG SWEPT the Group Website category with third place going to the team of Erica James, Rebekah Kim, and Avi Kumar.

Second place was captured by the collaboration of Jasmine Berry, Arya Revankar, and Vina Senthil.

Finishing strong in the top spot was the power trio of Rabia Kang, Robert Kobrin, and Dani Shoemaker.
