Science Olympiad Invitational Results

The results from the Boyceville Invitational came out this week, and we wanted to give a few shoutouts! ECG did very well, and the Board and I are so proud of all of our teams.

Since this is a nationwide tournament (with over 160 teams competing!), the organizers of the invitational divided all participating schools into 3 divisions based on the school's usual performance at regionals and states. We were placed in Division 2 with over 60 other teams, and we had many placements in that division!

Division-Wide placements:
Ornithology (V) - Dishita and Rou Yu - 1st Place
Cell Biology (V) - Soyu and Jiyu - 1st Place
Remote Sensing (V) - Dishita and Rou Yu - 1st Place
Write it, Do it (V) - Lily and Rebekah - 2nd Place
Rocks & Minerals (V) - Soyu and Jiyu - 2nd Place
Gravity Vehicle (V) - Lakshya and Ari - 3rd Place
Green Generation (V) - Dishita and Rou Yu - 3rd Place
Ornithology (JV1) - Keegan and Azreen - 3rd Place
Anatomy and Physiology (V) - Ayush and Isha - 4th Place

Dynamic Planet (JV2) - Rachel and Vina - 4th Place
Astronomy (V) - Sandith and Larry - 6th Place
Trajectory (V) - Roma and Isha - 6th Place

I also wanted to give a special shoutout to these people for placing in the top 10 overall, beating out over 160 other teams! This competition is against many nationally-competitive and state-competitive teams, so this is a very impressive feat!
