ECG Students Game for Hurricane Relief

The ECG service clubs, SAI, Environmental, Interact, International and Student Council, put together a Familly Game Show nite to raise money for hurricane relief. The students participated in Jeopardy, Family Fued, Minute to Win It and Are You Smarter than an ECG Senior. The Student Council provided a cash cafe to keep the players charged up for competition.  The proceeds from the night - $450 - were donated to Pender Early College High School to assist the many students who were significantly impacted by Hurricane Florence back in September.  The school's principal Kevin Taylor was extremely grateful to the ECG students for thier "generosity and most importantly, their caring nature."  The clubs and students hope to continue supporting Pender ECHS through other efforts throughout the year.
