EMC @ GTCC GSO students of NHS have joined forces with the Student Council to organize a blood drive by Red Cross.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character.

The local chapter of NHS at the Early-Middle College at GTCC Greensboro strives to further the 10-13th grade students in their service to the community.  To this end, the students of NHS have joined forces with the Student Council to organize a blood drive by Red Cross.  The need for blood donation in the Guilford County is great and the students recognized that and want to volunteer and serve the community and learn through this opportunity.

The event is planned for Oct 31, 2023, between the hours of 11:00 am – 3:30 pm.
