Embrace the New Year

Welcome to a great year at McLeansville Elementary! Having enthusiastic and energetic students filling our classrooms and hallways sets the stage for a productive and successful year of learning. As we welcome and connect with each child and family, we will challenge our students to grow personally and academically while being a productive member of our MES family.

Our children need support throughout the school year from both home and school. While each student bears the primary responsibility for his or her own attitude and effort, we must share the responsibility with our families for guiding our students’ success. Ensure that your child’s learning experience is optimal by having your student:

• Attend school daily and arrive on time
• Complete all homework
• Read daily
• Share school experiences and questions or concerns about school life and/or academics
• Understand your expectations about behavior and academics
   

Stay involved in your student’s experience throughout the year by communicating with us and being a part of school activities. I look forward to the 2017-2018 school year with you and your student.
