My name is Vanessa Palmer-Shepard and I am excited and thrilled to be your child’s New Kindergarten Teacher. I am a 2012 graduate from University of Mount Olive with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. This is my fourth year teaching and I am excited to be here, and for the opportunity to share my fun and exciting learning ideas with your child.

This new start for your child will be awesome and positive. Together we will work our hardest on helping your child reach his or her full potential. We will also have many wonderful and exciting experiences and opportunities to learn and grow this year.

Please check your child’s folder nightly as that will be where homework is located and notes about their day. Please initial it so I am aware that you received it. I will be making contact monthly to let you know how your child is doing in class. Please send the bottom portion back signed with the best way to contact you.
