Good evening Hornet Families,
This is Mrs. Rogers with your updates for the week. I would like to take time to acknowledge the Veterans in our Hornet Family. We are grateful for your service.

This week is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. During this week we will be collecting food items for our food pantry as well as gloves, socks, toboggans and scarves for the month of November.

There will be no Lego Robotics Club, Debate Club, or Chess Club this week or next week. We look forward to hosting these clubs again after Thanksgiving Break. There will also be no club meetings next week for Battle of the Books, AM Chess Club, or Quiz Bowl next week.

Winter Sports tryouts will begin November 16th. Students interested in participating in Wrestling, Girls Basketball or Boys Basketball need to have a current physical and concussion form.

Our Fall Break begins November 23rd. School will be closed Nov. 23rd-25th.

Finally, last week balance reports were distributed to students who have a significant cafeteria balance. If you have any questions, please contact our cafeteria manager. A reminder that parents can use K12 payment center to add funds to a student's cafeteria account. Additional it is not too late to complete the free and reduced lunch application at lunchapplication.com
