This is Mrs. Rogers calling with your updates for the week.

We want to say congratulations to our Science Fair and Spelling Bee winners. We are excited to have you represent The Academy at Lincoln at the district level.

There will be no school on Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

This week students will take Interim Assessments. All students will take the reading interim on Tuesday, and Math on Wednesday. Students in 5th and 8th grades will take the Science interim on Thursday. Students should bring their Chromebooks each day fully charged.

For our 8th grade families; the district Choice Window is officially open. We encourage you to look at the many high school options available. Information will be shared with students and you can find additional information on our website.

As a reminder, students must pay for school meals. Students who have not been paying may have a balance. Balance alerts have been sent to those impacted. Families can apply for free or reduced priced meals by completing the lunch application. We have paper copies in English and Spanish available in the office or you can go to www.lunchapplication.com.
