On Monday, February 22nd 9th graders in Cohort A will be allowed to return to Eastern Guilford for in-person learning. Families should receive an email letting you know which cohort your student is assigned to. If you have questions about cohort assignment, please call the school.
Students will be allowed to enter the building beginning at 9:35am and school will start at 9:55am. Dismissal for all students will be at 4:25pm. For those students remaining as remote learners, an updated bell schedule is on our school website.
Students riding a bus will follow staff instructions to enter through the main entrance of the building to complete health attestation forms and temperature screening. Car riders will follow the traffic circle all the way through and up to the designated sign in the visitor parking lot. Car riders will enter through our Arts Hallway to complete the health screening process to help keep us from having long lines at the main entrance.
Parents, information about how to access the health certification process through the new app: CrisisGo is located on our school website. Students and/or guardians can help us speed up the entry process each morning by completing the health attestation questions through the app before entering the building. Once they arrive they can show us their entry screen. We will review this information with students once they are on campus too.
As a reminder, on Tuesday, February 23rd, EGHS will be administering the ACT to juniors. Only juniors who received a letter about testing on February 23rd should attend. Please contact Mrs. Williams-Dick if you have questions about ACT testing. Cohort A freshmen will not attend school in-person next Tuesday.
