FAQ

Q: When is the last day to place my order?

A:  Pre-sale ends Dec. 13th but don’t wait – we have space for 300 on the cookers so once they’re sold, they’re sold!  

Q:  How long have you guys done the fundraiser? 

A:  A long time – This is year 19  

Q:  What is a Boston Butt?

A:  It’s the best and most meaty part of a pork shoulder.  Yes it’s the butt of a shoulder.  Whatever you call it, it’s good. 

Q:  How much do they weigh?

A: Typically 9-11 lbs cooked

Q:  How long do they cook?

A:  We slow cook them for about 14 hours at 225 degrees and each one is checked with a meat thermometer before packaging

Q:  How are they Seasoned?

A:  This we cannot disclose.  It is a secret dry rub that is very tasty. 

Q:  When is it again?

A:  Always ready to start your Winter Break off with a bang.  The last working day before break!  Pick up before you leave from the front of the building on 12/20.    

Q:  How Long will it last in the Fridge? 

A:  Typically 4 Days and yes you can freeze any leftovers.  Perfect for your Holiday festivities. 

Q:  What’s the best way to re-heat?

A:  350 in the oven still wrapped in the tin foil or shred in the crock pot with your Favorite BBQ sauce.

Q:  Do you have sauce?

A:  We do not, but there are plenty of local establishments that carry a wide variety.

Q:  Do they have bones?

A:  Yes, they’re small,  but it cooks better with them and adds more flavor.

Q:  Is it worth my $40?

A:  Yes! Every penny.
