Anniversary Celebration 2019

Over 75 were in attendance for the 102nd Anniversary Celebration including former Scholars and Teachers, Community Members, City and County Officials, current Fairview families, and Staff.    On March 23, 2019 Principal Hege opened the celebration by welcoming guest.  County Commissioner and Fairview Alumnae, Carlvena Foster brought greetings on behalf of the County as did School Board Representative T. Diane Bellamy Small.  Danny Rogers, Guilford County Sheriff and Fairview Alumni also offered remarks and personal memories to the attendees.

Immediately following open remarks, visitors took a tour of the school to see all the new and exciting things happening at Fairview.  Tony Collins President of Southside Neighborhood Association gave an informative presentation on Community Engagement.  Refreshments were served.  Thank you to Communities in Schools Representative Mrs. Pam Greene, volunteers, and everyone who helped to make the 102nd Anniversary of Fairview Elementary School a success!
