Senior Class of 2022

*This page will remain here all year to keep you up to date with Senior News.

  1.  Did you attend Brooks, General Greene, or Sternberger?  Would you like to walk the halls and encourage the students there to strive for high school graduation?  If so, then this year's Graduation Walk is for you.  On May 10 we will make the trip.  We will leave Grimsley at 8 am.  You MUST have a cap and gown to participate.  Go by the Main Office to sign up and get a permission form.  Space is limited, so sign up BEFORE May 6.

If you missed picking up your cap and gown on 4/26 and 4/29, you have one more chance.  On Tues, 5/3, during YOUR lunch, you can stop by Mrs. Whiting's room (413, Old Science) to pick up your items.  Late orders may NOT be here yet, but you can check.  Passes to class will NOT be written, so come at the beginning of you lunch.

  2. As you receive college acceptance letters, please remember to share that information here  You will need to submit each time you have an acceptance to input.
  3. As you receive scholarship offers, please share that information with Ms. Taylor in Counseling (  We keep a running total of all OFFERED scholarships/grants, even if you don’t accept the offer.

If you choose to wear a dress, you should wear a scoop neck or v-neck white dress or appropriate nice dress underneath the gown: no bold patterns or colors that will show through the robe. If your dress is longer than the gown, it must be WHITE.

Shoes worn with dresses should be black, blue, tan or white dress shoes (no bright colors, no tennis shoes, boots, loafers, flip-flops or casual sandals). Be mindful of the height of your heels.  You will have to walk up and down stairs.  Save the 4+ inch heels for another event.

Graduates will be “on display” to the visitors and should look proud of themselves. Caps are to be worn flat on your head with the tassel on the right. Do NOT put anything on the top of the cap.

Best All-Around Male and Female Graduate

Each year, the senior class votes on the Best All-Around Male and Female of the class.  It is the most prestigious award given at Senior Awards.  It is a serious award and needs to be treated as such.   Be thinking about your votes for the one male and one female who best represents Grimsley High School’s Class of 2022. Voting will take place in the Spring.
