After School Program at WGMS

Greetings from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point! We are collaborating with Western Guildford Middle School this school year to provide extra academic and enrichment activities after school at the school location from 3:30-6:30p, Monday -Friday.

Your child has been recommended as a potential participant by school officials. We plan on having the following activities take place:

• Tutoring and small group activities led by a certified teacher three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• A reading program that can be accessed 24/7 by your child designed to strengthen reading
• STEM activities
• Creative expression programs
• Fun afterschool interest clubs determined by the participants
• And a chance to earn a trip to Carowinds at the end of the school year!

We will provide all of these and more activities starting October 10, 2022 and the program will operate until June 2, 2023. The entire program is FREE! That’s right, no charge to you!

Please submit the linked application form (application in Spanish) to the front office of your child’s school by September 26, 2022 in order to reserve your spot and start on-time on October 10, 2022. Late applications will not be guaranteed a spot but will be placed on a waiting list.
