GeUP EOY Announcements Week of May 23

Greetings GeUP Students and Families, 

Reassignment Window Open Until May 30

The reassignment window is now open through May 31. If you wish for your student to return to their attendance zone school for in-person learning for the 2023-24 school year, parents must submit their request by 5:00 on May 31. Otherwise, they will remain enrolled in GeUP for the entire 2023-24 school year.

Guilford County Schools will be offering Summer Learning opportunities. If you are interested in having your student participate in Summer Learning, please fill out the form at https://forms.gle/3NW2vPfybH69vuWE6. This form is only for students interested in summer learning.

Promotion Ceremonies

1st - 4th Grades - Monday, June 5, Virtual Success Assemblies (see teacher for times and links)

Kindergarten - Tuesday, June 6, 10-12 PM, Barber Park, Greensboro

5th Grade - Wednesday, June 7, 10-12 PM, Barber Park, Greensboro

8th Grade - Friday, June 9, 9 - 11 AM, Truist Stadium (Rockers Stadium), High Point

6-7th Grades - Thursday, June 8, Virtual Success Assemblies, (see teacher for times and links)

Parents, please be advised that since we are a K-8 school and have multiple promotion ceremonies that will be taking place in the last week of school, we will be unable to host live classes during that week of school. 

Device Drop Off

6th - 8th Grade students will drop off their devices on the last day of their scheduled EOG at their testing site.

K-5 students will drop off their devices during the promotion ceremonies and Fun Days at Barber Park.

All other devices may be dropped off at our office located at 1305-A Merritt Drive, Greensboro, during the following dates and times (no appointment is needed):

June 8th 2:30 pm-6:00 pm

June 9th 7:00 am-1:00 pm

June 12th 11:00 am-1:00 pm
