Principal's Connect Ed Messages

6/10/2024

Good Evening Rising 7th grade KMS families. The reason for this call is to remind you of the state law requiring all seventh-grade students to have the MCV as well as the TDAP to start the 2024-2025 school year.
August 26th, the first day of school will be here before you know it, so please make an appointment if you have not done so already. As soon as you receive documentation that your students have these immunizations, please make a copy for your records and either drop off a copy to the front office or fax it to us at 336-545-3714.
Thank you and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Good evening, parents. This is principal Thea McHam. I know many of you are frustrated with the traffic pattern at our school. The engineer from Greensboro’s Department of Transportation has visited our school to review the traffic pattern. Unfortunately, there are no changes in the roadway that can be made to assist with the traffic flow. Please know that our staff members cannot direct traffic in the roadway as it would be unsafe for them, and they have other duties inside the building. The best course of action is to remain patient and respectful of the flow of traffic so that our students, staff and parents stay safe. The transportation request period is now open if you prefer for your student to become a bus rider next year. You can request transportation at www.gcsnc.com/transportation. Thank you and have a good evening.
