EOG PROCTORS NEEDED!

EOG Proctors Needed!

We are in need of volunteers to serve as proctors for our End of Grade Testing in grades 3-5! We will be testing on May 26th, May 31st and June 1st. Proctors should arrive at the school by 7:30am. On most days, testing will be completed by 12:30pm if not earlier. All students are given the option to test for three hours. So, as a proctor, you may be needed until 12:30.

The responsibility of a proctor is to serve as an observer to the test setting to ensure that all testing procedures are followed according to state guidelines. All proctors will be trained the morning of the test administration. Proctors are expected to follow the guidelines of the test setting such as not having reading material or using cell phones or any electronic device during testing. No talking is permitted during testing and proctors will be expected to circulate around the room throughout the testing session.

If you are able to help on any or all of the dates above, please complete the form linked below as soon as possible. If you are unable to help but have a relative who is at least 18 years of age and not currently enrolled in high school, they are welcome to volunteer as well. As a volunteer, you will also be required to fill out the GCS Volunteer Registration form at this link https://www.gcsvolunteers.com/. (Approval usually takes 48-72 hours, so please register as soon as possible.)

Please email Amanda Massengale at massena@gcsnc.com if you have any questions. Thank you so much for helping!
