October 30, 2022 Weekly STAR Family Updates

Good afternoon Morehead STAR Families! This is Mrs. Traumuller, the Proud Morehead Principal, with your weekly updates and reminders.

Let's begin with Monday, October 31st, being a teacher work day. No students will be on campus during this day. On Tuesday, our 3rd grade will take their fieldtrip to the zoo. Please ensure that your STAR student is there on time.

Tuesday, we will also have our monthly School Improvement Team Meeting in which we look at our school goals and discuss the status of them as well as discuss any new business. If you would like to join, please go to the school website to join the TEAMS link.

Wednesday, our 5th grade class will be going on the annual Camp Hanes fieldtrip and will return to school on Friday, November 4th.

This brings us to our PTA NEWS:
Student Stars on the Run campaign has kicked off Thursday! Parents check your child’s bag for a flyer with all the information! We have until November 10th to raise $2,000 to reach our goal to purchase a digital school sign!

Please mark your calendar for the upcoming dates as they will through your week off if you are not planned. Tuesday, November 8th, school is closed for students. On Friday, November 11th, school is also closed as it is Veteran's Day Holiday.
