11/8/22 Mid Week Updates from Our PTA

Good afternoon! This is Mrs. Traumuller, the Principal of Morehead Elementary, with some reminders from our PTA as November is such a busy month for our school!

*Although today is no school, did you remember to ask 5 for 5? The challenge is for each student/family to #ask5for5 by sending out the donation link
to 5 people for a donation of $5.00. Check out the Flyer Link for all the Student Campaign information.

*Wednesday is Wake Up and Wear your PJs to school! All students may wear their pajamas to school with appropriate shoes for school. Please send in your light blue shirt from last year so that we can pin the running bib on it for our run. If your STAR Student is new - they will come home with their new shirts on Thursday!

*Thursday is the big day for STARS ON THE RUN! All grade levels participate during the school day using the following grade level schedule:
4th Grade 8:50-9:30
1st Grade 9:35-10:15
2nd Grade 10:20-11:00
Kindergarten 11:45-12:25
3rd Grade 12:30-1:10
5th Grade 1:15-1:55
Stars on the Run event on the Morehead Track, wear tennis shoes and parents are invited to come and volunteer!

*Save the date for PTA Pie day is November 22nd! Check out the link (https://tinyurl.com/PTApiesforstarstaff) to learn all the details of the event and sign up to donate a pie or sweet treat for our Morehead teachers and staff as we want to give them a big Thank You for all they do for Morehead students everyday.

*Reflection projects will be due November 28.
