Good afternoon Morehead STAR Families! This is Mrs. Traumuller, the Proud Morehead Principal, with your weekly updates and reminders.

I would like to start this week's announcements with a very sincere "thank you" to all of the parent support for our fourth graders as they did their productions. We had a great mix of live and virtual audiences that allowed for our students to feel super proud and shine like true STARS! Another shout out to our ARTS team of teachers who ensure that all of this is possible.

This week we are starting off with an in school performance by Ronald Long for our students to enjoy! We move towards more elements of testing for students throughout the week, so attendance is super important. This Thursday marks the last day of the second nine weeks. Please work with your STAR student to check their grades and progress to date. We will end our week with a county Teacher Work Day. This means Thursday will end our week with students, so please plan for another three day weekend.

Thank you for your support with comments and feedback. We are working on our potholes in our car lines. The GCS Grounds crew was supposed to be out last week, but were called to another site. We are rescheduled for tomorrow during the day.
