Weekly Updates and Reminders 04/02/23
Sunday, April 2, 2023 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Family. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the proud Principal, with your updates and reminders for the week ahead.
Please mark your calendars for Monday, April 3rd - as we will host our Spring Pictures! I have sent all of the ordering information out on Class Dojo, and the information is also posted on our website. Tuesday is our monthly School Leadership Team Meeting and can be easily joined using the link on our website. Wednesday is a performance day for our kindergarten families. Please note that we will not be able to have parent lunches during the day as our cafeteria will transform into the performance stage. The times and links will be on our website for all who cannot make it. Thursday, is our last day of school before Spring Break begins and report cards will go home in back packs. Friday, April 7th is the first day of Spring Break and no staff or students will be on campus.
With many of us planning to look at vacations, please know that the school year lasts until June 9th. We cannot speak to the finalized testing schedule this year as we have not had our yearly testing meeting yet with the specifics given. IF you are planning a vacation, please plan for AFTER June 9th.

Purchase EPI School Supply Packs for next school year! Only $40.00 per pack!
April is National School Library Month, bringing a note for Media Specialist, Mrs. Garner and drop it in the PTA-provided box in the meeting center.
April 22nd from 9-11 will be a campus clean-up day! Sign up by emailing Rachel Tuggle, betty4281@gmail.com.
May 8th-May 12th is Teacher Appreciation led by Elena DeAngelis Carlson, elena@elenadeangelis.com
