Midweek Updates and Celebrations
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Families. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the Morehead STAR Principal, with updates for tomorrow and Spring Break.
This week, we have spent each day celebrating a pillar of our Morehead Star Creed and we will end our week with R-"Responding with Kindness!" In support of the Stokesdale Family that had a kindergarten student, Jaxson, in an accident last week while at the bus stop, we will be wearing orange. Our school community will send pictures to his family to let them know that we are supporting them in their time of need.
Student devices will stay at school over Spring Break. We will be updating and ensuring proper working condition, as when we return to school after Spring Break, we will jump into the End of Year testing period where we begin collecting data upon our student growth.
The dates for Spring Break are Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 16th. We will see our STAR students again ready for the last part of the 22-23 school year. I will send a Connect Ed message on Monday due to the upcoming holiday on Sunday.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. I hope that you, your friends, and your family enjoy the time together. If I can help in any way, I will be working over the break and can support if needed.
