Weekly Updates and Reminders 04/30/23
Sunday, April 30, 2023 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Family. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the proud Principal, with your updates and reminders for the week ahead.
We have such an incredible week of STAR students!
Monday of this week will be a normal running school day. On Tuesday, we will have a performance of the Production Preview and our first and second grade strings. The schedule for each class is a little different and Mrs. Toney has sent out a Dojo invite with the times and remote link. They will also be on our website as always for easy access. Due to the cafeteria being converted into a stage, please note that we will not be able to have parent visitors for lunches. Wednesday, our first grade students will take their field trip to the Greensboro Science Center. Thursday evening, we will have our PTA meeting in which we will also have a Spring Concert. This night will start at 6 pm and we look forward to seeing you there.

On May 4th
6 pm, PTA will have a brief General PTA meeting in the Morehead cafeteria.
All PTA positions are open. Please email PTA president Vicky Fowler, ptamoreheadelementary@gmail.com if you would like to nominate yourself or others for PTA
president, vice president, treasurer, or secretary.
May 8th-12th
Teacher Appreciation week and the Morehead PTA needs your help to show our
staff that we are their biggest fans! Please refer to the

to see the plans, which include 3 days where you can donate treats for our STAR

May 13th
