Weekly Updates and Reminders May 7, 2023
Sunday, May 7, 2023 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Family. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the proud Principal, with your updates and reminders for the week ahead.
This week we will send home the last progress reports of the year. Please keep an eye out for them in folders. On Wednesday, our 2nd graders will be going on county sponsored field trip for the Grasshoppers Game. Due to the entire district sending students to the game, please note that they will not be selling tickets to the public and only gave the school enough tickets for staff and students. We will record parts of this trip as our VERY OWN STARS of second grade will be singing the National Anthem with our very own Kenny Ball playing the guitar! Look for the video on Class Dojo after we get a chance to upload.
Last week was full of greatness from our students and this week is focused on celebrating our STAR STAFF with Teacher Appreciation Week. Please see the PTA news for all of the details.
Message from Morehead PTA:
Sunday, May 7th- come to Morehead at 3 pm to say thank you to all our teachers by designing sidewalk messages. Chalk is provided but you can bring your own too!
May 8th-12th is Teacher Appreciation Week and the PTA needs your help to show our staff that we are their biggest fans! Please refer to the flyer to see the plans, which include 3 days where you can donate treats for our STAR staff! You can find the signup genius link at https://tinyurl.com/BDF4RPKD
May 13th from 9-11 is campus clean up! Sign up by emailing Rachel Tuggle at betty4281@gmail.com
June 4th EPI Supply Pack deadline. Order at www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks and enter the school ID, MOR371.
