Weekly Updates and Reminders 05/28/23
Sunday, May 28, 2023 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Family. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the proud Principal, with your updates and reminders for the week ahead.
Testing has begun and our STARS are all shining bright as we enter the last two weeks of school. The end of year events are scheduled and are linked on our school website for ease of access and planning. We are finalizing times for awards on Tuesday and will have an updated schedule and DOJO posting by the end of day.
Monday, May 29, is the observance of Memorial Day. We will have no school for students or teachers on this day. Tuesday we will welcome our students back and will be hosting 3rd grade make up reading EOGs and 5th grade math EOG testing. Please help us by ensuring that ALL students are on time and well rested as a routine is proven to help our students reach successful results. Wednesday, our 3rd and 4th grade students will take their math EOG testing. Thursday, we will host our 3rd grade Read to Achieve Testing as well as the 5th grade reading EOG. On Friday, we will have our 3rd grade Read to Achieve Testing and the 5th grade science EOG testing. Friday night, from 6:30-8:30, our 5th grade students will celebrate an arts display as well as their grade level dance to celebrate their time at Morehead.
