Weekly Updates and Reminders 06/04/23
Sunday, June 4, 2023 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon Morehead STAR Family. This is Mrs. Traumuller, the proud Principal, with your updates and reminders for the week ahead.
As we enter the final week of school, I want to begin with a very sincere THANK YOU to our entire Morehead Community. This year has brought us many challenges and I truly believe that we have marched through them hand and hand as a team - which only unites our school community further! Thank you! As a leader I truly feel your support and partnership with every decision we make to help guide our school.
This week, we have a busy, celebratory, and fun filled week for all! Our fifth grade schedule of events is separate, as they are designed specifically to sending our STARS off to a new level of school and have been sent out previously. Please find below the listing of school wide events below that begin on Wednesday. Due to the set up of awards and our events, we unfortunately will not be able to honor lunch date requests after Tuesday. For all field day events, please send your STAR student to school prepared for being outside. If they will need hats, sunscreen or water bottles, please send those with your student on the day of their event.

As we move into the preparation for next year, please use the following link to provide more information for your child regarding class placement next school year. We are not looking for teacher names, but more qualities of both your student and teacher. https://forms.gle/N2PvbidbSHfkGTVH7

EPI Supply Pack deadline has been extended to June 25th! Order at www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks and enter the school ID, MOR371. Today is the last day to get your order placed for next year's school supplies! At only $40.00 - it is a great deal and best part- NO LINES!
Morehead Gear is now on sale! You can order Morehead gear at https://tinyurl.com/StarMESgear including t-shirts and hoodies for children and adults. The items have started to come in and they are simply amazing! Thank you for your orders...keep them coming!
