Weekly Updates and Reminders 11.10.24
Sunday, November 3, 2024 Weekly STAR Family Updates
Good afternoon parents! This is Mrs. Traumuller, the Proud Morehead Principal, with the weekly reminders and updates!
What an amazing STAR show out for our STAR Students at STARS ON THE RUN DAY! We had a great time and most importantly, our students were actively moving and having fun celebrating their physical fitness! This Saturday morning, we also had another great show at that Fall Go Far race through beautiful down town High Point! Our Morehead Family team all participated and finished the 5 K in under 45 minutes! UNBELIEVABLE STAR SHOW OF TALENT!
Please enjoy Monday with family and friends as it is Veteran's Day! There is no school during this day for staff or students.
On Tuesday, our STAR Students will enjoy Stack Up Day! This is an in school day where all kids will show off their talents with cup stacking when they go to specials! Be prepared for great pictures and fun to be had by all during their special times. Thursday, first quarter report cards will come home to you. Please look for these in student back packs and review. They come home in an envelop that will need to be signed and returned. On Friday, our students will celebrate the first quarter behaviors with our first PBIS celebration day! We will host our GLOW party, so unfortunately we will have no parent lunches as we will need the cafeteria to celebrate! Thank you for understanding.
Our PTA wants to remind you that we are less than $1000 from our school wide goal of $10,000 from our student campaign! We have until Friday, November 15th to make that happen! Please take time to visit our Morehead PTA Website for all of the up to date messages and information!
