Teacher Appreciation week is this week and WE APPRECIATE OUR RAM STAFF! Don’t forget to SHOUT OUT your child’s teachers this week. We are stocking the staff fridge so feel free to drop by and drinks, snacks or any notes of appreciation and will deliver! Thank you Teachers!

May 5th is Pre-ACT makeups for sophomores and ACT makeups for juniors. All students who are scheduled to test for makeups were sent an email from Mrs. Randall on 4/29 and need to complete the intent form if they plan to attend the makeup session.

We are excited to announce Operation Graduation opportunities for students that need to recover courses that they narrowly failed during semester 1. Some teachers will be able to work during day to help catch up your child.  If your child is part of Operation Graduation and you have any questions,  please contact Mr. Jones at or 336-375-2500.

We will have 2 summer school sessions this summer. If your child did not receive credit for any Math, English, Science, or Social Studies class, they will be invited to at least 1 session. Our first session will run June 8 to July 1 and the second session will run July 12 to July 29 Monday through Thursday from 9am until 1:30pm. We will be reaching out for confirmation starting NEXT WEEK!

Guilford County Schools is excited to offer a special COVID-19 vaccination opportunity for eligible GCS high school students. Students who are at least 16 years old are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, and GCS will provide transportation to the federally supported clinic at Four Seasons Town Centre for those students who have parental permission to receive the vaccine. Eligible Northeast High School students will take the trip Friday, May 7 at 10am.

If you wish for your child to participate in this opportunity, there are two documents that you must complete. We have mailed field trip permission forms and Vaccination permission forms to all eligible students and posted the forms in English and Spanish on our website. Face to face students should return all forms complete by Thursday, May 4 at 4pm to the Counseling Office. Remote students should bring all forms with them Friday at 10 BUT MUST complete the online interest form for remote learners to save their spot by 4pm on May 4.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our school nurse.

We had a GREAT first week with all of our Face to Face Rams back in the building. We hope your child told you how excited we were to have them with us again.

Tuesday 4/27 we will have the NWEA MAP Growth Assessment for all Face to Face 9th and 10th graders. Remote students already took this assessment. This assessment is given throughout the year and the information helps us understand your student's academic growth. Also on Tuesday all Juniors, both remote and face to face, will be taking the SAT AT NO CHARGE. This is the first time we have been able to offer the SAT at no charge. As you know, most colleges and universities require an SAT score for admittance. This is a great opportunity for our 11th graders! On this same day, 90 seniors will be taking the ACT WorkKeys. WorkKeys provides information on job readiness and looks GREAT on a resume or college application!

Thursday, April 29 from 4:30pm until 6pm we will have Senior FAFSA Night. See our social media and website for details.

Our graduation information is also on the website. And, we will have several dates to share with you early next week about our end of year activities including Student Government elections, Senior Awards and PROM!
