Learning Hub Information / Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00 pm in Media Center

The NGHS 2021-22 Learning Hub is Up and Running!

ALL students are invited to attend our 2021-22 Learning Hub Program. The goal of the Learning Hub Program is to provide an alternative time and space for students to access one-on-one tutoring by certified staff and certified tutors, recover credits, garner additional credits, individual goal-planning and much more. Dinner and transportation are provided to students who attend. Attendance incentive gift cards are drawn every session and quarterly attendance incentives will be rewarded.  Art activities will be offered every Tuesday and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and enrichment activities in partnership with NCCJ will be offered every Thursday.

To encourage families in supporting student success, family engagement events will be held throughout the year. These family engagement sessions will focus on the college application process and provide information about career and technical opportunities.

The Learning Hub Program will offer a $200 stipend to families in the fall only for students participating in the program who meet attendance goals. Any student meeting at least 80% of the attendance goal is eligible.

For more information or to register your student, please contact AP Ms. Wallace, Learning Hub Champion, or AP Mr. Hairston, Family Engagement Coordinator, at 336-643-8449.
