Dr. Gaymon's Weekly Message

Good evening families, this is Dr. Gaymon with your weekly reminders/updates.

The end of the 3rd quarter will be Thursday. Report cards go home on April 6th. Third quarter awards day will be on April 19th after spring break at 8am for students receiving awards. There will be no school Friday due to a teacher workday. 

3rd grade ELA interims are on Tuesday, 5th grade ELA interims are on Wednesday, and 3rd grade math interims are on Thursday. Please make sure students arrive to school on time and are well rested.  Please encourage them to take their time and do their best.

#Reading matters! Reading daily builds better readers.  Challenge your child to read at least 30 minutes daily and watch their reading ability soar.

Looking ahead:  Kindergarten through second grade magnet showcase will be Tuesday, April 4th from 1-2pm in the cafetorium. I can't wait to see them perform.  Spring Break is coming up on April 7-14. Students return to school on April 17th.
